SBA Communications Achieves Acclaimed Safety Training with IndustrySafe.
IndustrySafe worked with SBA Communications Corporation (SBA) to implement a comprehensive safety system that includes employee training to complement their existing methods and systems.
SBA was looking for an inclusive management system that could record and report on all its essential safety data to better analyze its safety efforts. The new management software needed to interface with the Human Resources systems that were already in place for employee training.
In conjunction with the IndustrySafe team, SBA configured IndustrySafe training tracking and training content software to integrate with the systems already in place, while simultaneously implementing an all-in-one system to monitor their most important safety data.
Since implementing IndustrySafe, SBA has been recognized by the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) for exceeding training requirements in the NATE Tower Climber Fall Protection Training Standard.
Founded in 1989, SBA owns and operates wireless communications infrastructure, including towers, buildings, rooftops, distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells, that help keep people, businesses and municipalities connected.
The SBA portfolio of nearly 30,000 towers, sites and other communications assets located in the United States and its territories, as well as in Canada, Central America and South America, attests to the company's commitment to the goal of "Building Better Wireless".
