In September of 2018, Vedanth Nair joined the IndustrySafe team as our Support & Implementation Intern.
Vedanth is one of several people who assist in troubleshooting support requests that come in via the phone or web. When he’s not taking help requests, he is contacting system administrators to gather feedback on their use of the IndustrySafe safety management software through account reviews.
To learn more about Vedanth’s time outside of the office, read the following Q&A session we had with him.
What is your hometown?
I was born in Stamford, CT. However, I lived in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey for the majority of my childhood.
What did you do before working here?
Prior to working at IndustrySafe, I had been taking classes full-time at Drexel University. I just recently got adjusted to working a 9-5 job!
What do you like most about your job?
Going into my first internship, I was looking forward to gaining practical technical experience and learning how to contribute within a corporate setting. IndustrySafe has provided a platform for me to do both. Working with the IndustrySafe team has been a delight.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I am really into music. I try to expose myself to a few new albums a week.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love playing pickup basketball to try keep myself active. I find the cardio from playing basketball a lot more enjoyable than running on a treadmill.
