The emergence of self-driving systems is a trend that utility safety professionals should continue to monitor, as this technology is changing very rapidly and has the potential to significantly impact fleet safety and operations.

In the presentation, "Autonomous Vehicles Are Coming Sooner Than You Think: What You Need to Know to Be Ready for the Safety Challenges They Will Bring," Sean Lyden, Editor of Utility Fleet Professional Magazine, will review the reasons why a self-driving world seems inevitable, the possible roadblocks of the advancement of self-driving systems, and how organizations can prepare for this technological change.  The presentation will kick off at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 24.
