The Custom Trend function simplifies the task of creating trend analyses all records. For every type of form the user is able to search the database based on any search criteria. The records that meet the search criteria are displayed in a summary screen. The user is able to review the matching records and export the data to excel.
To run a custom trend search, the user enters a module and selects the custom trend link on the vertical menu. A blank version of the form will appear. The user can search for any possible entry in any of the fields on the form. If the user types an asterisk (*) in an one line text box, all forms with a response in the selected field. Searches can be made with any number of combinations of response fields which are on the same recording form. Once the search is generated, a summary screen will appear listing the records that meet the search criteria. By clicking Export the user can export the data to excel and create customized graphs and reports.
