Edit Email Templates

The Edit Email Templates Section allows System Administrators to identify which fields should be included in the Email messages sent from the system. System Administrators are able to edit email messages for both email notifications and email alerts. The System ID and Date fields will always be included in an email notification or email alert. The general design of Edit Email Templates is very similar to the Edit Forms. To Edit an Email Template select a specific email template and then when the available fields appear, you indicate which fields should be included using the status drop down. Once you have made your desired edits, select the Save button. Select the View Template button to verify that the appropriate fields are appearing in the message.

Quick Steps Example: Defining an Email Template
1.Open the System Functions module by selecting the System Functions tab in the main menu.  
2. On the vertical menu select Set-Up, then select Edit Email Templates  
3.In the Email Template drop down, select the Email Template you wish to edit.  
4.The available fields will appear.  
5.Select Available in the Status column, for the fields you wish to be included in the message.  
6.Select the Save button.  
7.Select the View Template button to verify that the changes have been made.
